Speaker Benge appoints 2 women to GCCA

Today Oklahoma House Speaker Chris Benge appointed House members to the General Conference Committee on Appropriations. This is a big honor as they will hammer out the details of the budget bills. Of the 22 named, 2 are women. That is 11% -- which is about the percentage of women in the House -- but not in the Oklahoma population! House GCCA appointments include the following 22 lawmakers:
