Sunday is the anniversary of the 1st women's rights convention in the US (Seneca Falls, NY)

On July 19-20, 1848, the Seneca Falls Convention was held in Seneca Falls, New York. This was the first women's rights convention held in the United States. Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott wrote the "Declaration of Sentiments" for the Seneca Falls Women's Rights Convention, deliberately modeling it on the Declaration of Independence.
