A new report from the Institute of Medicine was released April 25, 2011 entitled "Child and Adolescent Health and Health Care Quality: Measuring What Matters." Up until now, our federal government has maintained numerous data sets and measures on health status but hasn't produced what the National Academy for State Health Policy calls "robust national-and state-level information about the health status or health care quality of children and adolescents." Now they do!
