Kudos to the University of Oklahoma for responding to student Jordan Ward and others who recently expressed concern regarding the school's sexual assault policy.
In response, the OU Regents have adopted revisions to the OU policy. Now students committing sexual misconduct can be suspended or expelled. Students have up to one year (it used to be one month) to file sexual misconduct complaints. (The State of Oklahoma's statute of limitations is 12 years!)
A Task Force has been created to work on other aspects of OU's sexual assault policies as well.
